Your adventure begins with a flight to Tashkent, followed by a short transit to Almaty, the former capital and cultural soul of Kazakhstan. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Begin at Medeo Gorge, home to the world’s highest mountain skating rink and a massive dam guarding the city from mudflows. Then, ascend to Shymbulak Ski Resort, offering breathtaking views from 2,230 meters above sea level. Return to the city to see Republic Square, the Independence Monument, and the Abay Opera House. Soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the Green Bazaar, then unwind in the peaceful Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen and admire the colourful Zenkov’s Cathedral. End the day at Kok-Tobe Hill with a stunning panoramic view of Almaty, before riding down on the famous cableway.
Today, enjoy a full-day trip to the stunning Charyn Canyon, one of Kazakhstan’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Formed over 12 million years, the canyon impresses with its towering cliffs shaped by wind, sun, and rain, resembling ancient stone castles. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating insights into the region’s history, Kazakh culture, and local traditions, with a lunch stop at a local café offering a taste of authenticity. As you arrive, be prepared to be amazed—the breathtaking beauty of Charyn Canyon will leave you speechless. Take in the panoramic views, then wander through the enchanting Valley of Castles, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and soaring walls.
Begin your day at Ethno Village “Huns”, where warriors in Saka armor and the traditional Shashu ritual offer a warm welcome. Take part in a brief baursak cooking session, explore the symbolic Kazakh yurt, and observe nomadic customs like wool whisking, yarn spinning, and cradle rituals. Enjoy a performance by the Sarbaz Nomad Group, followed by thrilling horse games such as Jigitovka, Atpen Audaryspak, Kyz Kuu, and the Kara Zhorga dance.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Upon arrival, begin your city tour with a visit to Independence Square, the main square of the country and a symbol of peace and victory in World War II. Enjoy a walk along local Broadway, a vibrant pedestrian street connecting Independence Square with Amir Timur Square. Take a short ride on the Tashkent Metro, renowned for its beautiful architecture and historic design—the first line opened in 1977. Continue to the old city, where you’ll explore the bustling Chorsu Bazaar, the historic Kukaldash Madrasah, and the Hast Imam Complex, home to ancient madrasahs, mosques, and mausoleums. The highlight of your visit is the Othman Quran, considered the oldest known copy of the Quran, dating back to the 8th century
Hop on a high-speed train to Bukhara, where history whispers through every brick. Explore the mighty Citadel Ark, the sacred Samanid Mausoleum, and Chashma Ayub, known as Job’s Well. Admire the symmetry of the Bolo-Hauz Mosque, then lose yourself among the ancient trading domes, still alive with artisans and spice sellers. Visit the vibrant Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble and the monumental Poi Kalon Complex. Dinner awaits under the desert stars.
Start your day at the serene Bahauddin Naqshbandi Complex, a sacred Sufi site. Then head to the Sitorai Mohi Hosa Palace, an eclectic royal residence blending European and Oriental styles – named "Star and Moon Palace" in memory of the Emir's beloved wife. The final stop is in Sumiton village, where you’ll visit the Chor Bakr Memorial Complex, often referred to as the “Town of the Dead.” This spiritual site, symbolizing the four corners of the earth and human equality, dates back to the Samanid era and continued to develop until the 16th century. Return to Bukhara for a leisurely evening and a delightful local Uzbek dinner.
On the way to Samarkand, pause in Gijduvan, a village celebrated for its vibrant pottery. Visit a workshop run by the sixth generation of the Narzullayev family, masters of geometric ceramic art. Enjoy a local lunch and witness the craftsmanship firsthand before continuing to Samarkand, the crown jewel of the Silk Road. Dinner and overnight in this legendary city.
Today, discover the historic city of Samarkand, one of the world’s oldest, nestled in the fertile Zerafshan Valley. Begin at the iconic Registan Square, a majestic ensemble of three madrasahs from the 15th–17th centuries. Continue to the Shakhi-Zinda Complex, a remarkable collection of mausoleums dating from the 11th to 15th centuries and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll along local Broadway, filled with souvenir shops, teahouses, and sweets, then explore the lively Siab Bazaar, known for traditional Uzbek goods. Visit a handmade carpet factory, where over 400 women create intricate carpets using age-old techniques. In the afternoon, transfer to Tashkent by train.
In the morning, transfer to the Chimgan Mountains, a popular retreat in the Tashkent region. Upon arrival, take a chair lift ride to Chinorkent Peak, enjoying scenic mountain views along the 30-minute ascent. At the top, enjoy free time to walk, relax, and take in the natural beauty. On the way back, stop at Charvak Lake, a popular lakeside resort known for its stunning views and relaxing atmosphere. Spend some leisure time by the beach before returning. By evening, return to Tashkent, followed by transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
